Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 2026
This Privacy Policy governs the online information collection practices of SKILLPROTECH (operating as Protech Academy) ("we" or "us"). It explains the types of information we collect about you while using the website https://www.pro-te.ch/ (the “Site”) and how we use that information. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information you provide offline or through other means (e.g., phone, events, or mail).
By using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If there are updates, they will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. By continuing to use the Site after changes are posted, you accept the modified Privacy Policy.
Who We Are and How to Contact Us
SKILLPROTECH (Protech Academy) is the data controller responsible for your personal data in connection with the Site. For any privacy request — including access, correction, deletion, or opt-out — contact us at [email protected].
How We Collect and Use Information
We may collect and store personal or other information that you voluntarily supply to us online while using the Site. For example:
- Signing up for our messaging
- Attending events
- Purchasing products or services
The Site collects personally identifiable information during online registration or purchasing. This may include your name, email address, and billing address. All this information is voluntarily provided by you.
Payment information: We do not collect or store your card or payment-account details. All payments are processed securely by third-party payment providers through Kajabi Payments — including Stripe, PayPal, Klarna, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. When you make a purchase, your payment details are submitted directly to the relevant provider, which processes them under its own privacy policy and security standards. We only receive confirmation of the transaction and limited order details (such as your name, email, and what you purchased).
We may also automatically collect data as you navigate the Site. Examples include:
- Information about your device’s connection to the internet, including your IP address, browser type, and operating system
- Cookies and similar technologies used to track user preferences and improve your experience (see Cookies and Tracking Technologies below)
- Pages visited, time spent on the Site, referring URLs, and interactions with our content and emails
This data helps us customize features, deliver relevant advertising, measure the performance of our marketing, and provide offers via email or direct mail. We may share this information with service providers, contractors, or third parties to provide products and services. If you do not want your information used in this way, you can contact us to opt out or use the controls described below.
Note: If you voluntarily share personal information online (e.g., in forums or comments), others may see and use it. We are not responsible for unauthorized use of this information by third parties.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. We and our third-party partners use cookies, web beacons (also called pixels or tracking pixels), and similar technologies to operate the Site, understand how it is used, and deliver and measure advertising.
We use the following categories of cookies and tracking technologies:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for the Site to function (e.g., page navigation, secure checkout, and our hosting platform Kajabi). These cannot be switched off in our systems.
- Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. See the section below.
- Advertising / marketing cookies — set by the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Google advertising services to measure ad performance and show you relevant ads on other platforms. See the sections below.
How to control cookies: Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. You can also use the opt-out tools listed in the sections below. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Site from working. If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the UK, non-essential cookies (analytics and advertising) are only set after you provide consent through our cookie consent banner, and you may withdraw consent at any time.
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Advertising Features
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to collect and analyse information about how visitors use the Site. GA4 uses cookies and similar identifiers to collect data such as pages viewed, session duration, approximate location (derived from IP address), device, and on-site events. We use this information to measure and improve the performance of the Site and our marketing.
We may also use Google Analytics Advertiser Features and Google Ads conversion tracking, including:
- Remarketing
- Impression Reporting
- Demographics and Interest Reporting
- Conversion measurement for our advertising campaigns
Information collected by Google is processed in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy. To learn how Google uses data when you use our Site, see https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
How to opt out of Google Analytics: You can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or manage Google ad personalisation at https://adssettings.google.com/.
Meta (Facebook) Pixel
We use the Meta Pixel (also known as the Facebook Pixel), a tracking technology provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. The Meta Pixel uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your interactions with the Site — such as pages viewed and actions taken (for example, completing a purchase or sign-up).
We use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram, to build custom and lookalike audiences, and to show you relevant ads on Meta’s platforms. Data collected through the Meta Pixel is shared with and processed by Meta in accordance with Meta’s Privacy Policy, available at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/.
How to control Meta advertising: You can adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings, and manage interest-based advertising at https://www.youronlinechoices.eu/ (EEA/UK) or https://optout.aboutads.info/ (US).
Third-Party Service Providers and Processors
We rely on the following third parties to operate the Site and our marketing. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:
- Kajabi — website hosting, course delivery, and checkout (https://kajabi.com/policies/privacy)
- Google LLC — Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads (https://policies.google.com/privacy)
- Meta Platforms, Inc. — Meta Pixel and advertising (https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/)

Some third-party advertisers or services on the Site may collect information via cookies or other technologies. Their privacy policies govern how they use your data and may differ from ours. The Site may also include links to other websites; the privacy policies of those websites will govern how your information is used. We recommend reviewing their policies before providing personal information.
Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we become aware of such information, we will delete it. We do not allow children under 13 to post or distribute personally identifiable information on the Site.
Public Discussions
Any information you share in public discussions on the Site may be visible to others and used without our control. Be cautious when posting sensitive information in these areas.
How We Store Your Information
We do not operate our own servers. Your information is stored securely on infrastructure operated by our third-party service providers — primarily Kajabi, which hosts the Site, our content, checkout, and messaging — as well as the other processors listed above. Only authorized personnel and these processors can access your information. We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy or as required by law.
All emails we send include an unsubscribe link. You can remove yourself from our mailing list at any time by clicking the link.
Accessing, Changing, and Deleting Your Information
You can update or delete your personal information, or unsubscribe from any mailing lists, by contacting us at [email protected] or following instructions on the Site.

- Restrict or object to its processing
- Withdraw consent for non-essential cookies and tracking at any time
- Request data portability
